Feasibility Study and Preliminary Design

ZK TECO is the globally leading enterprise of hybrid biometric verification technology.

LEE²DESIGN worked with the ZK TECO client teams in China and the USA to identify their programmatic needs, analyze zoning and building code requirements, and create multiple feasibility study options which incorporated various programs including Office, Production Space, Warehouse, Exhibition and Experience Center into the design. The project goal was to generate a building layout that fit their operations while simultaneously creating an iconic piece of architecture that embodied the organization’s desired brand identity and vision. Outdoor public spaces and landscapes were fully integrated into the building interior, taking advantage of the warm local climate in Alpharetta, Georgia. High-performance facades, maximization of daylight, and sustainable material choices were also some of the core elements that guided the development of the design.
